Holland

From its picturesque canals and ancient bridges to its world famous museums and historical sights - Amsterdam is a charming and romantic city - a city of tolerance and diversity, a relatively small city, easy to get around, and, thanks to its canals has little road traffic. The Royal Palace and main shopping area around Amsterdams Dam Square is a good place to start your exploration of the city. It can easily be explored on foot, by byke, metro, or aboard a canal boat tour - stopping at the many attractions along the circular route. Amsterdam has over fifty museums which attract millions of visitors every year. Theatres, cinemas, or late night clubs and bars can be found in the Leidseplein and Rembrantplein districts. Another area of interest is the Jordaan area, a popular district for students and young professionals.
