Terms and Conditions of Booking

 

1. CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

All bookings accepted by Everything Abroad are subject to these Terms and Conditions and relies on mutual understanding and trust between its clients and itself. Please read these conditions carefully. If in doubt please request a copy at time of enquiry.

2. BOOKING PROCEDURE

a) At the time of booking a Booking Form must be completed and a deposit paid per accommodation week.

b) Provisional bookings for accommodation will be held for 48 hours pending receipt of deposit and Booking Form. A Confirmation and Account will then be issued showing the balance due and the last date upon which payment must be made ( 8 weeks prior to departure ). Bookings made within 8 weeks prior to departure will be subject to payment in full at time of booking.

 

3. PRICES

a) Your holiday price is fully guaranteed and you will not be subject to any surcharges.

b) Everything Abroad reserve the right to reduce prices in the case of `special offers`.

c) A credit card number will be required against breakages/damage and/or unpaid bills. A signed booking form with a credit card number will be deemed by Everything Abroad to be authority to make necessary deductions.

 

4. CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION

 

a) CANCELLATION

The client may give notice to cancel his booking at any time - however, notification of cancellation must be made in writing immediately the circumstances giving rise to the claim occur, failure to do so may prejudice any entitlement to claim the full charges made, from the insurance company. The cancellation will be effective from the date it is received. All cancellations are subject to the charges shown below. Note: In all cases loss of deposit applies.

b) ACCOMMODATION AND/OR CAR HIRE BOOKINGS

1. More than 56 days prior to departure --------------- 30% of total cost

2. Less than 56 days prior to departure --------------- 100% of total cost

Where possible Everything Abroad would always try to achieve a re-let in which case - the person cancelling would then incur loss of deposit only. Everything Abroad strongly advises that all clients take out Travel Insurance which covers involuntary cancellation.

c) AIR SEATS

Cancellation charges vary. Charter seats (purchased from a tour operator) : Operator conditions apply.

d) ALTERATION TO BOOKINGS

These are charged at 20 per booking if the alteration is accepted.

1. Everything Abroad will not cancel any travel arrangements or holiday bookings made on behalf of a client - within 8 weeks of the departure date - unless it is necessary to do so as a result of hostilities, political unrest, or other circumstances amounting to force majeure, or unless the client defaults in the payment of his balance on the due date. Should material alterations become necessary to tours, holidays, or any other travel arrangements for which bookings have already been made, we will inform clients without delay and will give all clients the choice of either accepting the alteration, which will be of comparable standard, or of receiving a prompt (within14 days) and full refund of all monies paid Material alterations shall not include delays in departures on tours, holidays, or other travel arrangements caused by weather conditions, technical problems/transport strikes, industrial action or other circumstances beyond our control.

2. Charter flight schedules can be altered for various reasons without compensation. Provided the timings are not more than 12 hours earlier or later. Such alterations are out of the control of Everything Abroad which simply acts as an agent in the transaction.

 

5. CANCELLATION BY EVERYTHING ABROAD

Everything Abroad may cancel a booking at any time if ;

1. the client fails to pay the deposit/balance by the date specified.

2. any cheque given by the client is dishonoured.

 

6. LATE ARRIVAL

Everything Abroad cannot accept responsibility for clients missing aircraft due to late check-in at the airport. Please check timings carefully.

 

7. PASSPORTS/VISAS/HEALTH REQUIREMENTS/LICENCES

All clients are responsible for ensuring that they have all the necessary valid Documents when travelling . Check travel documents before travelling.

 

8. ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation provided is for the use of passengers listed on the booking form. Subletting, sharing, or assignment is prohibited. All damage and breakages will be charged to the to the clients and must be paid for before departure from resort. In the event of Everything Abroad being notified of unpaid charges, the amount will be deducted from the credit card deposit for this purpose.

 

9. GOLF ARRANGEMENTS

Everything Abroad can confirm golfing arrangements at some resorts and in cases where we cannot book for you Everything Abroad will be pleased to offer advice. Handicap certificates should be carried. GOLF TO BE PAID FOR BY CLIENT DIRECT TO CLUB/RESORT.

 

10. COMPLAINTS

If a client has any reason for complaint it is obligatory that he contacts Everything Abroad as soon as possible in order that immediate action be taken to rectify any faults. Failure to comply with this requirement will seriously jeopardize any compensation into which the complainant enters. Any complaint regarding a holiday after return should be made in writing within 28 days.

 

11. UTILITIES

Unless otherwise stated, all costs for heating, pool heating, and telephone (if available) will be charged locally and must be paid by client before departure.

 

12. TRANSFERS

Transfers are not provided but can be arranged at extra cost. Many clients prefer to hire1 a car and make their own way.

 

13. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
You will appreciate that many people and companies are involved in the provision of your holiday. Everything Abroad do not exclude or limit our obligation to you for any loss or damage sustained by you as a result of negligence of our employees or agents. However, we do not accept any liability for the actions or omissions of those involved in your holiday arrangements over whom we have no direct control and who are not employed by us as our employees or agents. Nevertheless we will give such reasonable help as we can in resolving any dispute with those who are not our employees or agents.

 

14. PAYMENTS.

Payments should be made to Everything Abroad.

 

15. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Everything Abroad clients are required as a condition of booking to be adequately insured. It is also important that insurance be purchased at time of booking.

 

16. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS

Everything Abroad will assume that by payment of deposit or balance for your travel arrangements you accept the above conditions.

 

17. OTHER PROPERTIES AND DESTINATIONS

18. BROCHURE INFORMATION

Whilst the company has taken great care in the preparation of all the information in this brochure, and it is as accurate as possible at the time of being printed, the company can accept no responsibility for the alterations in or withdrawals of accommodation, facilities or services in circumstances outside the company control.
